OIGÅLL PROJECTS is a gallery and conceptual testing ground located on Wurundjeri land at 122 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy, Melbourne (Naarm).

The gallery produces exhibitions showcasing captivating and challenging work from contemporary Australian artists.

The versatile space presents a blank canvas for cyclical reinvention in collaboration, unbound by history nor convention.

Pronounced ‘Oi-gul’ the project is named in honour of the late Irene (Gertrude) Spilsbury aka Oigåll (1926 - 2018).

“Always highly creative, she never held back and gave everything a go. The combination of her attitude and the space being located on Gertrude Street – this is a loveletter to her.”
